Did you hear?! It was only the women who showed up in the Senate chamber during the blizzard of 2016. Not a single man of the 83 elected men showed up. All women present – pages, parliamentarians, senators. It wasn’t planned … it’s just who showed up to do the country’s work. I find this absolutely amazing! We women have a big purpose … and we are hardy, as well as resilient.
