“The Power of YES!” is such a simple idea, yet it often gets lost in the rigors and stress of everyday life. Jackie Levin is a leadership coach, peace educator, entrepreneur, and a shining embodiment of “The Power of YES!” One only needs to spend a moment with Jackie to learn that she is a wealth of optimism and inspiration. The philosophy of “being open and unattached to outcomes” guides her in every decision. This has led Jackie to co-develop Mindful Innovation, Inc., a consulting practice which helps profit and non-profit organizations envelop organization alignment, innovation practice and leadership skills; the Butterfly Peace Path™ labyrinth and curriculum that promotes peace, life harmony and healing; and Project M, a mentoring program designed to help urban youth develop positive self identity, build expressive competence and confidence, and support a sense of purpose and direction they need to more fully engage in life. “To me, a ‘healing woman’ is someone doing her own work of healing through life-long commitment to her own healing practices. This provides the energy, motivation and ability to give back in whatever ways are needed to help heal those around her. Healing women hold others as naturally creative, resourceful and whole, and in turn are mirrors to others, reflecting back the good, true and beauty in their nature. Healing women are inspired and inspiring as they help themselves and others tap their inner wisdom.”

Much like the other women spotlighted in Women as Healers: Voices of Vibrancy, Jackie believes that healing starts from within the individual. She has pulled inspiration from everyday life to discover her passion for mentoring the spirit and capability of multi-cultural youth through Project M. Working with urban families in a number of community-oriented settings, Project M has helped more than 200 individuals develop a positive self identity with a holistic and nurturing approach to body, mind, and spirit. Jackie teaches us the power of possibility in taking risks: All we need to do is believe in ourselves and the things we are passionate about. It is also important to remember the “Power of YES!” and to not be afraid of making a difference in the world. Her new e-book called “Dare to Dream…Make it Happen!” is a simple and personal account of her own life (so far!). It is available at: www.mindfulinnovation.
