About Tami Briggs

Tami Briggs envisioned her second book to feature many of the healing women she has met over the years and who have profoundly impacted her life. In her newest release, Women as Healers: Voices of Vibrancy, 31 women from around the world share their insightful stories to help the world heal. Tami has also created both live and webinar presentations that highlight the key themes from the 31 featured women in the book.

Tami, a therapeutic harpist, is the founding principal of Musical Reflections, whose mission is to provide products and services to enhance and support the healing journey. She is a nationally sought-after health educator and speaker. Audiences range from healthcare professionals and women’s groups, to business organizations and church groups. As a composer and recording artist, Tami has released 13 CDs for relaxation, comfort, and stress reduction; Grace Notes: Reflections on the Harp and Healing is her first book about using therapeutic music at the hospital and hospice bedside. All are available on her website: http://www.musicalreflections.com/home.cfm.

Prior to founding Musical Reflections, she was co-founder of Transnational Strategies, a cross-cultural training company. She helped business people on five continents increase their international business success by developing cross-cultural skills. Transnational Strategies was acquired by Wilson Learning Worldwide in 1998. Tami has lived and worked in Switzerland, and taught English as a Second Language and American culture in Kyoto, Japan.
